Inclusive practice is fundamental to my work. I am always looking for ways to work with new audiences to share the printmaking process.

I work with community partners to deliver workshops as part of Arts Council and Lottery funded projects. I also run monthly workshops at Process Club introducing people to screen printing and all its possibilities. This is an aspect of my practise that I really enjoy, if you would like me to run a workshop at your school, creative business or place of work please get in touch.

What People Are Saying

“Clare has been fully invested in the project, incredibly generous with her knowledge and keen to learn a wide variety of ceramic techniques. She is an inspiring and empathetic practitioner who was able to put the workshop participants completely at ease.”

— Claire Shoosmith, Director, Eastbourne Studio Pottery

“You are very relaxed which made us feel at ease. You made it easier for us to ask questions and made sure that we understood the whole process clearly. You are very knowledgeable and even took the time to answer my most random questions in detail which I appreciate.”

— Process Club ‘Introduction to Screenprinting’ attendee

“I have had the pleasure of working with Clare to deliver a screen printing workshop as part of our family programme, engaging participants of all ages. With warmth and sensitivity, Clare creates an exciting and inclusive learning environment, and brought our exhibitions to life for participants through hands-on printmaking activities.”

— Nick Kidd, Head of Community Engagement, The Charleston Trust

“Thanks so much for the introduction to screenprinting today; I bloody loved it! You explain everything very clearly - and were very entertaining too; I had a great day.”
